Coronavirus Update IV

May 16 2020

To our valued customers and friends. After closing our doors to walk-in traffic on March 17th, and operating by curb-side pickup and our online store, we see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We've been asked over the last few days, "Are you opening your doors Tuesday."

At this point, we just aren't ready.

We still need an acrylic barrier at our register. We are still aquiring and installing appropriate health and saftey equipment. We are procuring needed PPE's for our staff.

For the time being, we will operate as we have been successfully doing over the last exhausting 8 weeks. We will announce when we are ready for Phase 1

Thank-you for your patience and understanding.

Coronavirus Update II

March 18 2020

To our valued customers,

I want to clarify our decision to close our doors to walk-in traffic.

For several days, we tried to keep our doors open, keeping up with the pace of cleaning and sterilization and the ever-changing updates to the COVID-19 situation. As time went by, we came to realize the alarming amount of close personal proximity involved while shopping within our store.

Being closed to walk-in traffic is risky, however all of our staff need to be sure not to expose themselves and their families to needless risk. I know we aren’t the only small business making these very difficult decisions, however with the state of emergency being declared and the seriousness of the spread of this virus, we all need to do out part.

Our web page is open for virtual shopping and browsing which you can do from the comfort of your own home. We can make arrangements to supply bikes and equipment on a case-by-case basis, whether it be delivery, or simple pick-up by appointment. We regretfully cannot accommodate browsing.

Brantford / Brant is a strong, close-nit community. I believe if we all work together, our social distancing can flatten the curve of the spread of this virus.

Assuming you are not in isolation, I want your love of cycling to be your escape from stress. While keeping your social distancing, I encourage you to go take a break and go ride your bike,  get some fresh air, enjoy a dose of relaxation, and restore a sense of calm.

Thank-you for your patience and patronage.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

March 16 2020

Dear valued customer,

Your health and safety is our first priority. As COVID-19 continues to impact communities, I want to share some of the steps we are taking to help protect you during your visit to our store.

We are taking guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take. Our staff has increased the frequency and rigor of cleaning, taking extra care to wipe down surfaces like door knobs, faucets, keypads, phones and touch screens.

We provide daily updates for our staff so they can keep themselves and their families safe. We’re encouraging sick team members to stay home.

This is a dynamic situation. We will continue to respond appropriately as new information is made available.

If you choose to minimize your time in a retail setting, please remember that you can always shop on our website for home delivery or free in-store pickup. We are here to serve your cycling needs however you prefer.

While this situation persists, we have lowered our Ontario base shipping rate to $9.99 for any orders under $99.99. Shipping is free on any orders over $100.00. Please note; we do not ship bicycles.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not accepting cash at this time.

Assuming you are not in isolation, we want your love of cycling to be a comfortable escape during this stressful time. We encourage you to take a break from social media and the news to ride your bike. Get some fresh air, a dose of relaxation, and restore a sense of calm.

Sincerely,

Stuart Querney
Store Owner.
