Specialized, in conjunction with Dr. Andy Pruitt, (30-year, professional fit expert to the pro's, director of the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine and author of Andy Pruitt's Complete Medical Guide for Cyclists,) designed a fitting system that can achieve an ergonomically correct fit for mountain, road, and triathlon riders. It is called BG FIT (Body Geometry Fit Integration Technology).

This comprehensive fit philosophy and methodology is now available at THE BRANTFORD CYCLEATH. Our BG FIT Technician, Stuart Querney helps cyclists ride faster, longer and in greater comfort, while reducing the chance for injury by implementing the BG FIT method. We fit the bike to the rider, rather than the rider to the bike. BG FIT technicians receive extensive Body Geometry training from Specialized using fitting principles established by the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine to analyze each riders unique attributes, pedal stroke and body position. BG 3D Aero FIT - $300 (Approx. 3-1/2 hours) 
Advanced FIT tailored to unique needs of athletes racing against the clock. Includes:
•           Interview to establish a realistic goal driven fit.
•           Thorough Physical Assessment to determine strengths, flexibility and limitations.
•           Dynamic saddle height/fore-aft saddle position.
•           Dynamic handlebar height/stem length adjustment.
•           Dynamic Aero bar positioning.
•           Pedal stroke analysis.
•           Dynamic foot/shoe setup, cleat adjustment and footbed analysis.
•           Documentation of position including photos and measurements.
•           Frontal Surface Area and back profile are optimized for aerodynamics.

BG 3D Road/Mountain FIT $250 (Approx. 3 hours)
Advanced FIT for all levels of road and mountain riders. Includes:
•           Interview to establish a realistic goal driven fit.

•           Dynamic saddle height/fore-aft saddle position.

BG 2D FIT $175 (Approx. 1-1/2 hours)
FIT for the bike enthusiast. Includes:

*Dynamic means while pedaling on a stationary trainer.

For the new rider.

BG Shoe Sizing $40 (Approx. 20 min)For riders with foot/shoe related issues
